For over a year, we follow the life of a woman who is terminally ill— a woman who refuses to resign herself to the thought of her own death. ‘My body is not the only thing that matters,’ she reasons. ‘My identity exists beyond the limits of the physical.’ In the film, a poetic voice, representing the body, battles the character’s mortality.
