Ontmoeting Noorse studenten in Hospice Bardo

Yesterday we met a group of Norwegian students at @hospiceBardo. An enthusiastic group of 22 students from the Executive Master’s Programme in Health Administration (University of Oslo) came to visit us. Christiaan Rhodius, former doctor in Bardo, initiated this visit.

All students are working in health administration or clinical leadership in #Norway. The topics they were most interested in remained: the organisation and financing of #palliativecare in the Netherlands, referral routines, the role of dedicated palliative care specialists, how Bardo is positioned relative to the hospital system, and your volunteer arrangements. Of course we liked to hear how palliative care is arranged in Norway.

Priscilla Axwijk, Specialist in Palliative Medicine with Amstelring and Marjon Vonck, director of Bardo and programme manager palliative care also with Amstelring, took care of the presentation and a tour in Bardo.

It was a very interesting gathering, we learned a lot and we hope they did too!
